The Leelanau Chamber has coordinated with two successful business consultants and coaches to create a half-day workshop to help business supervisors, managers & owners or organization leaders with skills to make them more effective in their positions. Participants will receive tactical resources to implement in the workplace immediately.

Terry Porter
Terry Porter is an experienced life and leadership coach, dedicated father, and husband. With over 20 years of counseling and pastoral work and six years of coaching experience, Terry specializes in helping individuals and small business leaders reach their full potential. He holds a Master's degree in executive coaching and is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As a father to three children and a devoted husband, Terry brings his values of integrity, growth, and connection into both his personal and professional life. He’s passionate about guiding others to success through personalized coaching that fosters personal and professional growth.
Brittany VanderBeek
Brittany VanderBeek has spent her career at the intersection of business, higher education, and the nonprofit world, championing business as a force for good and preparing the next generation for successful careers. Through sustainability consulting at BrownFlynn, Michelin’s Global Leadership Program, corporate giving and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy at Hagerty, fund development and community engagement at 20Fathoms, teaching innovation at Northwestern Michigan College, and her growth strategy consulting business, Illuminate Opportunity LLC, Brittany illuminates opportunities for people and organizations to innovate and positively impact on the world. She has an International MBA from the University of South Carolina and a BBA from the University of Michigan. In the community, she serves on the Grand Traverse Bay Watershed Center board, volunteers as a Grand Traverse Lighthouse Keeper, is one of the founding members of the Office of Possibilities, and is a Traverse Connect Creative Coast Northern Navigator.
