Founded four decades ago, the Friendship Community Center is a gathering space designed to connect diverse generations and cultures in our region.
We partner with talented community members to bring wellness, art, and educational opportunities to our friends and neighbors.
The Friendship Community Center’s flagship youth program, Leelanau Investing For Teens (LIFT), is Leelanau County’s only no-cost out-of-school program for students in 6th grade through 12th grade. We partner with Glen Lake, Suttons Bay, and Northport Public Schools to provide empowering activities over 235 days for the year!
