Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum | Northport

Historic white lighthouse with a red roof and an American flag, surrounded by greenery under a partly cloudy sky.

The Grand Traverse Lighthouse historic site is restored to the 1920s and 1930s time period. Visitors can tour the keeper's side of the lighthouse and climb the spiral staircase to the tower for a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. Visit the Fog Signal Building to learn about our area shipwrecks and drive the ROV (remote-operated vehicle). The lighthouse sits inside the Leelanau State Park. Visit the new playground and/or go for a hike.
