Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28th! Northport's streets will once again be closed off to host an incredible event celebrating the finest in local Music, Dance, Art and Food. And guess what? It's free-all free of charge! Leelanau UnCaged has become the most anticipated free street festival in northern Michigan, and this year marks its 10th anniversary.
From 11 AM until 10 PM you can enjoy a spectacular lineup of 33 performances across six stages, and this year a special stage for dance of all kinds, all day long. Additionally, there will be numerous talented artisans showcasing their work, as well as a dedicated kid's tent aimed at inspiring the next generation of artists and musicians. If you want to kick off the day right, show up at 11 AM for a special water blessing ceremony, at the shores of Northport’s Marina Park and Pavilion.
Get ready for an entire day packed with non-stop fun that celebrates and shines a light on our local treasures. Go to www.leelanauuncaged.com for more details.
